Each course has following tabs:
Information — general information about the course. This is the first thing that users see when they are introduced to the course.
Reviews — course reviews that all learners can write after passing 80% of the steps in the course.
Syllabus — the structure of the course, which includes modules, lessons, open and close dates and deadlines.
News — information messages to learners created by course admins and teachers.
If your course is a competition, you can add the additional tab Scoreboard — a list of learners in order of decreasing earned points. Example of a course using a scoreboard: https://stepik.org/course/117/scoreboard. For more information about the settings, see below Information> Course format.
In this article, we'll take a look at filling out the Information tab and additional course settings in the sidebar.
Tabs Reviews and Comments are automatically generated when new reviews and comments are added (comments can be disabled). The author adds the news.

Adding course information
The first thing that users see in any course is an information page, so pay special attention to filling it. Information about the open course is available for viewing even for unregistered users.

- The logo should not have white space at the edges.
- Don't use a lot of letters and small characters in the logo.
- Don't use an image that looks like logos of other courses.
