Starting from March 6, 2020, all new courses at Stepik were subject to the following subscription plans: Basic (free), PRO (paid subscription), Enterprise (for organizations). You can learn more at https://welcome.stepik.org/en/pricing
From July 1, 2020, these plans are also applicable to all the older courses (created at Stepik before March 6, 2020).
Important information for the instructors, who have already had courses at Stepik
If you already have a subscription for creating private courses, which extends after July 1, 2020 – your private courses will automatically become PRO or Enterprise and you will not have to pay or subscribe again.
If you already have open courses at Stepik, you can:
- Switch them to Basic (free plan).
1.1 It will happen automatically if you do not use such functions as reducing points depending on attempts, access restriction for modules, LTI, external grader, exams, proctoring.
1.2 If you used them but do not want to subscribe to Pro, you will need to delete these functions from your courses or they will become drafts.
1.3 Also within July following options will become unavailable: рteacher review, file submissions, attempt restrictions, manual score. We will notify you on their disabling, but if you do not have an intention to subscribe to Pro, we recommend to disable them yourself in advance. - Subscribe to Pro (paid) and change the status of the necessary courses to Pro. We are ready to provide all instructors with already existing courses who wish to go Pro with favorable subscription terms.
- Sign up for Enterprise (paid subscription) and change the status of the necessary courses to Enterprise. We are ready to provide all instructors with already existing courses who wish to go Enterprise with favorable subscription terms.
- Transfer your courses to other accounts (including those of organizations) with Pro or Enterprise subscription.
Do not forget that after you subscribe, you will have to change the status of your courses according to your new subscription plan (you can do that at a publication page of any course "Menu" -> "Publication"). There you can also check what paid functions you have now, and switch to Basic if you want so.
